Cookie Policy
Transparency Notice: PIVIRO does not currently use unnecessary advertising/tracking cookies or tracking pixels, while Early Access information and standard technical infrastructure information may still be processed. We do not deploy advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking storage (such as localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB) on your device.
01. Understanding Cookies & Web Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites to store small pieces of information. They are frequently used across the web to keep users logged in, record user preferences, track advertising engagement, or compile website analytics.
Other client-side web technologies include local storage (localStorage), session storage (sessionStorage), and client databases (IndexedDB), which allow web applications to retain state inside the browser. Server-side technologies include HTTP request logs, which record connections between a browser and a web host.
02. PIVIRO's Current Implementation
PIVIRO is built with a strict privacy-first standard. On this website:
- No Advertising Cookies: We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or behavioral profiling cookies.
- No Analytics Cookies: We do not deploy Google Analytics cookies, Vercel Analytics cookies, or third-party web measurement trackers.
- No Tracking Pixels: We do not include tracking pixels or tags from Meta/Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, or other ad networks.
- No
document.cookieCode: Our application codebase does not create, write to, or read cookies via JavaScript. - No Tracking Storage: We do not write tracking identifiers or personal profiles to
localStorage,sessionStorage, orIndexedDB.
03. Technical Infrastructure & External Requests
To deliver this website reliably and securely, certain standard network interactions occur when you visit our pages:
- Hosting & Edge Infrastructure (Vercel Inc.): The website is hosted on Vercel's global edge network. When you request a page, Vercel may process standard technical information associated with requests to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the website (including your IP address, browser type, and request timestamp). These technical logs do not set persistent tracking cookies on your device.
- Web Typography (Google Fonts): We use Google Fonts to render typography (Plus Jakarta Sans). The website may request font resources from Google Fonts when your browser loads the site. These requests may involve standard technical information such as your IP address and browser information. PIVIRO does not pass additional user identifiers or form data to Google during font requests.
04. Distinguishing Cookies from Other Technologies
It is important to clearly distinguish cookies from other common browser features:
- Browser Cache: Your browser natively caches static files (such as stylesheet files, SVG icons, and PNG graphics) on your device so you do not have to re-download them on every page view. Browser caching is an inherent mechanism of standard web browsers and HTTP protocols, not a cookie or tracking system.
- Server Request Logs: Standard web server connection records created by hosting providers for diagnostic and security purposes are server-side records, not cookies placed on your computer.
05. Future Platform Technologies
As PIVIRO rolls out user authentication and profile management for Early Access members, essential functional cookies may become necessary (such as secure, encrypted authentication tokens to keep you logged in to your account).
If PIVIRO later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, or similar tools, the relevant privacy and cookie disclosures and consent mechanisms will be updated before those technologies are used where required by applicable law.
06. Managing Your Browser Settings
Although PIVIRO does not set tracking cookies, you maintain full control over cookies and website data through your browser settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies.
- Apple Safari: Settings > Privacy > Prevent cross-site tracking.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Enhanced Tracking Protection.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies.
07. Changes to this Policy
We may periodically update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our platform architecture, technical practices, or legal requirements. When updates occur, the revised version will be published here with an updated "Last Updated" date.
